Teaching and Public Speaking

Nawal is an experienced teacher, having been a lecturer at Southport and Skelmersdale colleges and runs workshops and lesson for adults, children, those with “special needs” in museums, galleries and other private and public institutions.

Nawal also runs regular classes in watercolours, mixed media art, textiles, machine embroidery, for all abilities and experience (from complete beginners - to experienced) in Formby, Southport and Liverpool. Please contact her if you’d like to take part.

Community Outreach

Nawal runs a group called “Coastal Creative” which organises two major selling exhibitions, one in the spring with Open Sefton at The Atkinson arts centre in Southport, in the autumn there is a very successful exhibition at a local venue.

Nawal is also involved in outreach to communities who may be disadvantaged and others who may not usually participate in making art.
